The new "WindPitch" wind turbine mad by Horizon comes with 3 sets of profiled blades and one set of foil blades, allowing a large number of rotor configurations, including pitch control. The students will discover the effects of various blade profiles, various angles of pitch and of course variable wind force. The WindPich uses a 3 phace AC alternator to produce electricity which is then converted into DC current by a rectifier.
